CLG Red Welcomes bENITA as Captain to the Women’s VALORANT Scene

CLG Red Joins the VALORANT Train

CLG Red, the iconic women’s CS:GO team, has officially announced their entry into the VALORANT scene. This marks CLG Red’s first venture into professional VALORANT, as they aim to build on their championship mindset.

Key Player Announcement

The team captain of CLG Red’s VALORANT roster will be Benita “bENITA” Novshadian. BENITA, who was an original member of the CLG Red CS:GO roster, is one of the most successful female CS:GO players. After winning several international events with CLG Red in CS:GO, BENITA made the switch to VALORANT in 2020.

A Separate Journey

Unlike the Dignitas ladies team that competes in both CS:GO and VALORANT, CLG Red’s VALORANT roster will be entirely separate from their CS:GO division. They are expected to be a force in the growing women’s division and will compete in the VCT Game Changers series.

Upcoming Qualifiers

CLG will reveal the initial three members of their VALORANT roster in the next few days, as they aim to build the best competitive team alongside bENITA. The open qualifiers for the first VCT Game Changers series begin on March 19, with the main event featuring a double-elimination bracket starting on March 25.
