Clever Anti-Defuse Strategy for Ascent’s B Site Uncovered by VALORANT Player

Defending the Spike in VALORANT: A Savvy Anti-Defuse Strategy for Raze Players

A Twitch streamer, AverageJonas, has recently showcased a clever anti-defuse strategy on Ascent in VALORANT. In a tutorial specifically designed for Raze mains, he demonstrates a technique that can save the day for defenders.

To effectively execute this strategy, the attacking team must breach Ascent’s B site and plant the Spike in the default spot behind the stacked crates. A Raze player then needs to safely return to B Garage and wait for the defuse sound.

To eliminate any defusers, Raze players can throw a precisely placed grenade from the Garage crate where the ultimate orb spawns. AverageJonas provides clear instructions on the optimal positioning for this throw. Players should jump in the air and release the grenade while descending, causing it to bounce off a wall and land directly on the default spot.

If there are still enemies on site, Raze mains can utilize their Blast Packs. By jumping down to the shorter fish crate and aligning themselves correctly while looking at a crack in the window, they can ensure a precise throw. The Blast Packs will land directly on the Spike. Raze players should detonate the satchel just before the halfway mark and take out their opponents before they can react.

This strategy allows defenders to protect the Spike without exposing themselves to danger or compromising their position.
