Chinese VALORANT tournament set to be hosted by ImbaTV in July

ImbaTV Unveils Fearless VALORANT Invitational Cup for Chinese Teams

Chinese tournament organizer ImbaTV has announced the Fearless VALORANT Invitational Cup, a Chinese competition taking place from July 8 to 25.

The tournament will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool of approximately $15,000. ImbaTV has invited 12 teams, including Suning, O2 Gaming, Attacking Soul, SahnXi Gaming, Totoro Gaming, Team Weibo, Number One Player, All Gamers, ex-KaiXin, Tales of Eastern, Invictus Gaming, and EDward Gaming. The remaining four spots will be filled through a qualifier.

The tournament will divide the 16 teams into four groups of four, using a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next stage, which will be a double-elimination bracket. All matches will be best-of-three series, except for the best-of-five grand finals.

The winner of the Fearless VALORANT Invitational Cup will receive approximately $5,000, while the runners-up will take home around $2,850. Due to VALORANT not being released in China by Riot Games, the tournament will be played on Hong Kong servers.

ImbaTV will announce additional details, such as the broadcast platform and on-air talent, in the coming weeks.
