Breeze Returns to VALORANT Map Pool with Major Changes
Breeze is making a comeback to the active VALORANT map pool after being away for some time. The map has undergone significant changes that players need to be aware of before jumping into a game. In addition to Breeze returning, two other maps will be rotated out, making room for the potential debut of a new map.
Riot has confirmed the major changes that have been made to Breeze. Mid, the B site, A Hall, the A Shop, and Cave have all been overhauled. As a result, the updated version of Breeze will be introduced into the rotation while Pearl and Fracture will be removed.
One significant change is the reduction in size of the Mid area. Players can no longer go around either side of the central pillar. However, a new Mid cubby has been added on one side, creating a solid wall on the defender side. Attackers can still jump up to watch the top of Mid and Nest.
Apart from the changes to Mid, the biggest tweaks are to the paths leading to the A site. A Cave has been completely closed off, leaving the revamped A Shop as the only way to access the A site. Additionally, A Hall has been closed off, although attackers can still use ropes to go up and down Chute. They cannot, however, reach the A site from Hall. Attackers and defenders can still engage and shoot each other through A Hall.
The B site and Mid Wood doors have also received significant changes, while the A site itself has only undergone minor adjustments.

With Breeze returning and Pearl and Fracture being rotated out, it is likely that a new map will be revealed soon to join Breeze in the map pool. Hints suggest that the new map might also be a warm and sunny location.
The changes to the map pool will go live at the start of VALORANT Episode Seven, Act Two, which is expected to begin on August 29.
