Brazilian VALORANT Star Nearing Signing with FURIA for VCT 2023

FURIA to Acquire Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati, Secures Spot in 2023 Americas VALORANT League

Brazilian organization FURIA is set to acquire Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati from Vivo Keyd, according to a joint report by Brazilian outlet The Enemy and insider Noyn.

Mwzera Visits FURIA’s Gaming Office

Mwzera has already visited FURIA’s gaming office and met some of his potential future teammates, according to The Enemy. Advanced talks between FURIA and Vivo Keyd are taking place and the deal should be finalized after ironing out the last details of the transfer.

Negotiations and Efforts to Secure Mwzera

The negotiations have been ongoing for weeks due to Vivo Keyd’s resistance in losing their best VALORANT player. FURIA has been making an effort to secure mwzera’s services after deciding to transfer Argentinian player Agustin “Nozwerr” Ibarra to Leviatán, as reported by The Enemy.

Potential Lineup and Backup Plan

If the deal goes through, mwzera would play alongside Gabriel “qck” Lima, Khalil “Khalil” Schmidt, Matheus “mazin” Araújo, and Douglas “dgzin” Silva in FURIA. Additionally, FURIA is targeting Vitor “kon4n” Hugo as a backup plan in case the deal with mwzera falls through. MIBR is also interested in kon4n, according to The Enemy’s sources.

All partnered teams must submit their lineups with at least three players by the October 15 deadline set by Riot Games. FURIA will participate in the Americas VALORANT league next year and make their debut in VCT 2023 at the inaugural event in São Paulo, Brazil.
