Autimatic rumored to depart from T1 VALORANT, possible return to CS:GO

Autimatic Reportedly Considering Return to CS:GO as T1’s VALORANT Roster Prepares for Changes

According to a report from Upcomer, Autimatic will not be participating in the upcoming practice sessions for T1’s VALORANT roster. The professional player is currently weighing his options and may be looking to return to CS:GO.

Autimatic made the switch to VALORANT in February and has been a member of T1 since then. However, the report suggests that he is contemplating a return to CS:GO, where he achieved success in the past, including winning several A-tier tournaments with Cloud9’s roster, which triumphed at ELEAGUE Major: Boston in 2018.

If Autimatic decides to return to CS:GO, he would join the growing list of former Counter-Strike pros who have made a comeback to Valve’s shooter. Floppy has already returned by joining Extra Salt, and nitr0 could be on the verge of returning to Team Liquid’s CS:GO roster, according to a report by 1pv.fr.

In addition, T1 is reportedly planning to bring in steel, whose addition seems certain at this point, according to Upcomer’s report. Steel, a British-Canadian player, is expected to assume the role of in-game leader, possibly replacing curry, according to a report from Nov. 14.

The team is also considering other changes to its roster. Spyder has been on the bench since the end of June and may not be part of the organization’s future plans, according to the report.

T1 still has some time to evaluate and decide on the future of its roster, as the team will not compete in any major tournaments in the coming days. The squad’s next competition is VCT 2022, which is scheduled to begin in the early part of next year.
