Autimatic becomes a member of T1’s VALORANT roster

Timothy “autimatic” Ta Joins T1 VALORANT Roster

T1, the esports organization, has officially announced that Timothy “autimatic” Ta will be joining their VALORANT roster.

Autimatic is a well-known former player in the North American Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) scene. He achieved fame by winning the ELEAGUE Boston Major with Cloud9 in 2018, which is North America’s only victory in a CS Major. After that, he played with Gen.G and had notable success, including a win at DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020.

Autimatic will now be reunited with his former Cloud9 teammate Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham.

T1 was one of the early investors in VALORANT, signing brax as the esports’ first professional player. However, the team has faced disappointment and gone through numerous roster changes. They managed to secure a top-eight placing at First Strike NA but were eliminated in the quarterfinals by 100 Thieves, the eventual winners of the tournament.

It is still too early to determine whether autimatic will be the missing piece that T1 needs to elevate themselves in the highly competitive North American VALORANT scene. Rumors are circulating about potential changes in the rest of the T1 roster leading up to the next VALORANT Challengers event.
