The Best VALORANT Play of the Day
Yesterday, the VCT Masters may not have had the best VALORANT play of the day. In the round of 16 of the Vanguard Championship Series, the team Zoomer Academy showcased their smarts and ingenuity with a genius play.
Up 11-7 on Ascent, the defending Zoomer Academy players executed a well-planned strategy that shut down the site rush before it even started. Omen smoked off the A lobby wall while Sova launched a recon arrow from Heaven. Jett dashed on top of the smoked-off wall right as the recon arrow hit, revealing the enemy players’ positions. The enemy team fell to Jett and Reyna without even knowing where their opponents were. The highlight left casters V1nson and DillyG absolutely astounded.
The Designer of the Play
This play was designed by Kevin “Lelicious” Le, a former VALORANT coach for Mamba Mode Gaming who has been coaching Zoomer Academy since January. He will be coaching the Moon Raccoons Black women’s team in the VCT Game Changers qualifiers.
Lelicious credits Tyson “TenZ” Ngo as the inspiration for this play, and it’s clear since it is designed for a deadly Jett player to capitalize on their mobility and secure kills. Many fans are hoping to see Sentinels use this play in their VCT Masters match against FaZe Clan.
