Ascent map unveils Viper’s ultimate ability’s one-way barrier in VALORANT

Viper’s Ultimate Ability Exploit Discovered on Ascent in VALORANT

Several VALORANT agents have received updates to improve their viability and balance since the game’s release. One agent, in particular, Viper, has seen multiple buffs to make her more effective in team compositions. However, players have recently discovered an unintentional buff to Viper’s ultimate ability that creates a one-way barrier covering a portion of a bombsite.

An Even Harder Ultimate Ability to Counter

Viper’s ultimate ability, Viper’s Pit, creates a large cloud of poison gas that limits visibility and slowly damages enemies who enter the gas. It is a reliable tool when defending a site from a retake. However, a new exploit on the map Ascent makes Viper’s ultimate even more challenging to counter.

A New Exploit on Ascent

A VALORANT player recently uploaded a clip explaining how to use Viper’s ultimate ability on the A site on Ascent to create a one-way smoke covering Heaven. When lined up correctly, a glitch occurs, causing the gas to block Heaven without obstructing the line of sight for players on the bombsite. This exploit also creates a small hidden area where Viper can safely remain to fuel the cloud.

This exploit allows players to easily eliminate enemies in Heaven since they cannot see out of the gas. It creates a one-way barrier that covers a significant portion of the site and can greatly benefit a team in winning a crucial round.

Other players have also noticed similar glitches on other maps when Viper’s ultimate is used in multi-level areas. While some players joked about this glitch being the latest Viper buff, the majority agrees that it is an issue that needs to be addressed and fixed.
