Fade: The Mysterious New Agent in VALORANT
The newest agent in Riot Games’ popular first-person shooter, VALORANT, Fade, has left fans intrigued about her mysterious backstory. While little is known about her origins, it is established that she is of Turkish descent. However, her story takes a dramatic turn when someone close to her goes missing. Fade suspects that the VALORANT Protocol is responsible for this disappearance.
Fade’s Quest for Answers
In her journey to unravel the truth, Fade contacts Brimstone, threatening to expose the operation and its involvement in the disappearance if he fails to prove their innocence. To showcase her capabilities, she sends personal dossiers to each agent, demonstrating her proficiency in uncovering even the deepest secrets. However, she refrains from releasing this information to the public.
The group’s scouting specialist, Cypher, successfully traces the messages back to Turkey. A team of agents is dispatched to capture Fade and bring her in for questioning. Despite facing fierce opposition from Chamber, Breach, Neon, Cypher, and Sova, Fade puts up a formidable fight, utilizing her radiant powers. Eventually, KAY/O’s suppression ability disables and apprehends her.
The Truth Unveiled
Interrogated by Cypher, Fade reveals her knowledge of various aspects of the VALORANT Protocol, including the location of their headquarters, guidelines, and different loadouts. Initially skeptical, Fade’s doubt dissipates when Cypher mentions the existence of multiple worlds beyond their own.

Convinced that Fade poses no threat to the VALORANT Protocol, Cypher suggests that she could be a valuable addition to their powerful roster of agents. However, some members, like Jett, remain cautious due to Fade’s recent blackmail. Nevertheless, Brimstone extends a warm welcome to Fade. However, she leaves him a voicemail emphasizing that her loyalty depends on the group’s assistance in finding her missing person.
Fade will be available in VALORANT starting April 26.
