All the information about the VALORANT beta that we have

VALORANT Could Be Released Sooner Than Expected

Riot Games is gearing up to release their highly anticipated tactical first-person shooter, VALORANT. The game is set on a near-future Earth and offers a unique blend of classic and futuristic weapons as well as hypernatural agents with specific abilities. VALORANT draws inspiration from popular shooter titles like CS:GO and Overwatch, with its futuristic and cartoony style, gameplay mechanics, and gunplay. The game will also introduce an economy system for purchasing weapons and abilities for agents.

Early Access for Pros and Promotional Content

Eager fans may get a chance to play VALORANT sooner than expected. According to esports journalist Rod “Slasher” Breslau, select professional gamers and streamers will be invited to a promotional event at Riot’s Los Angeles HQ on March 10-12, 2020. During this event, these players will have the opportunity to shoot promotional footage for VALORANT, possibly hinting at an upcoming beta release.

Possible Beta Release Before Summer 2020

While there hasn’t been any official confirmation about a closed or public beta, it is likely that Riot will introduce a closed beta for a select group of participants in the coming months. This could potentially be followed by an open beta before September 2020. Considering the game’s anticipated popularity, Riot may follow a similar approach to Activision’s multiple beta releases for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare last year.

This article will be updated as more information about VALORANT’s beta is released.
