All the callouts in VALORANT

Communication is essential in any tactical shooter game, especially inVALORANT. Knowing the callouts for each map can make a big difference in winning or losing a round.

Learning all the callouts inVALORANT might seem overwhelming if you’re new to the game. However, if you’re willing to play all the maps, you’ll quickly learn the important spots.

To speed up your learning process, you can refer to the callouts for each map below. When I started playing in 2021, checking the callouts before queuing up in ranked helped me a lot. If you have a secondary monitor, you can even keep this tab open while playingVALORANT.

Here are the callouts for all nine maps inVALORANT.

Ascent

Ascent is similar toCounter-Strike’sde_Dust 2. It has a straightforward layout with a midsection, an A site, and a B site. However, what sets it apart are its chokepoints and alcoves. Some important callouts to remember are Catwalk, A, and B lobby. It’s a defensive-heavy map that requires coordination from both teams.

Bind

Attackers have several options on Bind. Some common callouts and chokepoints on this map include Hookah, a room with hanging water pipes leading to the B site, and Showers, a bathroom area near A.

Fracture

Fracture is one of the most unique maps inVALORANT. Defenders spawn in the middle of the H-shaped map with access to both sites, while attackers spawn in front of a zipline. Some important callouts include A and B, B Tower, A Deep, and A Link.

Haven

Haven is a three-site map with many attacking and defending options. Two crucial callouts in the middle of the map are T Mid Doors, which lead to Garage and the C site, and Mid Courtyard, located in front of B. There are also spots like Mid-Windows, commonly used by attackers, and B-box, where defenders often wait.

Lotus

Lotus is set in the Western Ghats of Omega Earth’s India. It’s a three-site map like Haven and features rotating doors, destructible walls, and a silent drop. Some notable callouts include C Waterfall and Main leading to the C site, B Upper, towering over B, and A Top, Drop, and Hut surrounding A.

Pearl

Pearl is an underwater map inVALORANT that focuses on simplicity. It doesn’t have gimmicks like closable doors or teleporters. Instead, it goes back to basics. Important callouts include Secret, Flowers, and Link toward the A site, and Screen, Hall, and Tower around the B site. Mid Connector and Mid Doors are also worth considering.

Split

Split is another defense-sided map where attackers have little room for error. B and A main are crucial callouts, but Mid and Sewers are also highly contested areas. Defenders often sit on B Rafters or the back of A, but there are plenty of options for them.

Breeze

Breeze is the largest map inVALORANT, with wide-open spaces and long sightlines reminiscent ofCounter-Strike. Some important callouts leading to the A site are Cave and Shop. For the B site, there’s Main, Arches, Elbow, and Tunnel.

Icebox

Icebox is a small and confined snow-covered map with two sites. It features tight angles, chokepoints, long sightlines, elevated positions, and horizontal zip lines. It rewards adaptive play and quick aiming, making it perfect for aerial agents like Jett and Raze. Some callouts to be aware of are Shipping Containers and Rafters.

By familiarizing yourself with these callouts, you’ll improve your gameplay and communication with your team. Have fun exploring and mastering each map inVALORANT!
