In the latest update for VALORANT, a new sentinel agent is being added to the roster. Deadlock comes equipped with powerful tools to control zones, provide crowd control, and isolate enemies with her ultimate ability.
Deadlock will be released alongside VALORANT Episode 7, Act One on Tuesday, June 27. This update includes not just a new agent, but also a new battle pass, skin lines, sprays, gun buddies, and player cards.
Deadlock’s Abilities in VALORANT
GravNet (C)
EQUIP a GravNet grenade and throw it to make enemies caught within crouch and move slowly. This can be used to stall an incoming rush or force the enemy to back up, giving your team the advantage.
Sonic Sensor (Q)
EQUIP a Sonic Sensor that monitors an area for enemies making sounds. It concusses the area if footsteps, weapons fire, or significant noise are detected. Use this trap in heavy traffic chokepoints or to hold down a chokepoint during a retake.
Barrier Mesh (E)
EQUIP a Barrier Mesh disc and throw it to create four walls that block character movement. These walls can be used to shut down rushes onto sites and can withstand bullets. Take advantage of the surprise factor by swinging at anyone trying to destroy the walls.
Annihilation (X)
EQUIP a Nanowire Accelerator and unleash a pulse of nanowires to capture the first enemy. The captured enemy is pulled along a nanowire path and will die if they reach the end, unless they are freed. Although the cocoon is destructible, Deadlock can use her ultimate strategically to gain an advantage in various situations.
