Accusations arise against a female VALORANT team for allegedly using a boyfriend as a stand-in during an online Galorants tournament

An All-Female VALORANT Team Accused of Cheating in Recent Tournament

An all-female VALORANT team, Team Fallacy, has been accused of cheating during the Galorants Astral Clash event. The accusations claim that one of the players’ boyfriends stood in for her during a match. A document was released to support these shocking allegations, stating that Mars’ boyfriend, former TSM FTX star Payen, used her account during the event.

Evidence Points to the Accused VALORANT Player

The document presented an abundance of circumstantial and screenshot evidence that points to Mars’ guilt. One video clip allegedly shows Mars getting a 1v5 ace, but she can be seen not saying anything during the feat, which raised suspicion among many viewers. Further investigation revealed similarities between Mars and Payen’s gameplay, such as the use of different keybinds and crosshairs. The document also highlighted Payen’s usage of the Discord in-game overlay, whereas Mars did not use it in any clips.

Questions Surround the Alleged Cheating Incident

While the evidence is compelling, no definitive ruling has been made by Riot Games, the game’s publisher. Mars has remained silent on the matter as her Twitter account is locked, leaving fans in the dark about the validity of the accusations. Some argue that the evidence presented is not conclusive enough to prove cheating, as changing keybinds and crosshairs are not uncommon practices. Nevertheless, many feel that the cumulative evidence raises suspicions about potential foul play.
