A Fan of VALORANT Unveils an Impressive Recoil Trick

Mastering Recoil Control in VALORANT

Recoil control and patterns play a crucial role in tactical shooters like VALORANT. Understanding how your gun behaves after firing can give you a significant advantage over your opponents.

While professional players can fire their weapons rapidly by clicking their fire button at incredible speeds, replicating this in intense situations can be challenging. Fortunately, a VALORANT fan recently shared a helpful trick on Reddit to assist those struggling with accuracy.

The Trick to Improve Your Aim

Almost all weapons in VALORANT have specific recoil patterns and height limits. With enough practice, players can enhance their shooting skills and avoid giving away their position by leaving bullet tracers on walls.

To test out this trick, you can go to the crosshair settings and increase your “Outer Line Offset” to 40, while also disabling movement and firing errors. After firing six shots, the remaining shots should follow the outer line you enabled in the settings.

Enhancing Your Aim for Headshots

Keeping the firing behavior and outer line in mind can significantly improve your aim. This simple trick is effective for both spraying and praying or when you need to line up accurate shots for headshots.

While the technique primarily applies to the Phantom and Vandal weapons, other weapons in the game exhibit similar behaviors with different spraying patterns and accuracy. Take advantage of the practice mode and try this trick with your favorite weapons to stay one step ahead of your enemies in VALORANT.
