New Custom Animations Bring Freshness to VALORANT Agent Selection
In VALORANT, each Agent has a unique ability that assists their team in different situations. Some Agents blind enemies with flashes, while others provide cover with smoke. However, the Agent selection animations have remained unchanged since the game’s launch.
VALORANT player freshest orange has taken it upon themselves to update the Agent animations, starting with the popular duelist Phoenix.
A new custom animation has been created, featuring Phoenix throwing a fireball that generates a wall of fire before teleporting back into the frame. This showcases three of his abilities in just a few seconds, giving new players a better understanding of his skills. The animation also includes a crown above his head, reflecting his confident and cocky persona.
Other players have shown interest in seeing similar animations for other characters. However, some feel that the new animation is too flashy and prefer the simpler style of the current animations. It’s also worth considering that the new animations may pose optimization issues for less powerful computers.
Nevertheless, updating the agent animations will bring new life to the agent selection screen.
