100 Thieves Fortnite player Elevate transitions to VALORANT, signs with Beastcoast

A Top North American Fortnite Player Joins VALORANT

Hayden “Elevate” Krueger, one of the best Fortnite players in North America, is making the transition to VALORANT. Elevate, who is still contracted with 100 Thieves, will be sent on loan to Beastcoast to compete in VALORANT. The loan agreement is in effect until the end of the year, but Elevate’s contract can be bought out if he performs well in Riot’s new first-person shooter.

Elevate leaves behind his successful Fortnite career with this move to VALORANT. He was considered one of the top Fortnite players in the region, notably finishing third in the World Cup 2019 – Duo Finals alongside his partner, Davis “Ceice” McClellan.

Since then, he has been regularly competing in the Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter Two, Season Two duo tournaments with Shawn “clarityG” Washington as his partner. The duo finished 23rd in the grand finals after performing well in the preceding weeks.

Elevate is not the only professional Fortnite player to switch to VALORANT. Austin “Morgausse” Etue, a former Fortnite player, also announced his move to VALORANT after a successful career in Fortnite. Morgausse expressed his dissatisfaction with Epic Games’ handling of Fortnite’s competitive scene, citing bugs going unchecked, overpowered aim assist, and a lack of communication to the competitive scene.
