100 Thieves brings back Gamers for Equality tournament featuring League, VALORANT, and Fortnite

100 Thieves Hosts Gamers for Equality Tournament with New Games

Next month, 100 Thieves will be hosting the Gamers for Equality tournament to raise funds for organizations dedicated to racial equality. Instead of Call of Duty, the event will feature three different games.

Last week, 100 Thieves faced a setback when Activision denied their request to use Call of Duty: Warzone for the tournament. As a result, the event had to be postponed.

The revised tournament will now feature League of Legends, VALORANT, and Fortnite. Celebrities and gamers will be competing to raise money for charity.

The exact details of the tournament, including participants, brackets, and format, will be announced in the coming days.

Nadeshot, CEO of 100 Thieves, explained that the team decided to switch games because Activision had issues with CashApp being a sponsor for a tournament involving their game. CashApp is contributing the $100,000 donation to charity.

Keep an eye out for more updates on this exciting tournament!
