TwoLetterName Sets New Record in Minecraft 1.16 Speedrun
Just days after Illumina’s record-breaking glitchless speedrun, TwoLetterName has shattered the record by over a minute.
TwoLetterName uploaded a video on YouTube showcasing his fastest speedrun yet, completing it in an impressive time of only 12 minutes and 12 seconds. He flawlessly executed the run, effortlessly defeating the ender dragon within seconds.
This time and another sub-14-minute run both surpassed Illumina’s record of 13 minutes and 57 seconds.
Although TwoLetterName’s run was done offline, it didn’t take long for other speedrunners and Twitch personalities to share their reactions to this incredible achievement.
These recent runs have pushed the current No. 1 time on the leaderboards, but they have yet to be confirmed. Currently, TwoLetterName’s fastest displayed time is 16 minutes, placing him at No. 14 in the rankings.
