YouTube Bans Andrew Tate, Influencer Takes Down Twitch Profile to Avoid the Same Fate

YouTube Bans Controversial Influencer Andrew Tate

After being banned from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, Andrew Tate has now been banned from YouTube as well. In response, Tate deleted his Twitch channel to avoid a similar ban.

According to a report by Bloomberg, YouTube banned Andrew Tate on August 22 for violating community guidelines, terms of service, and hate speech policy.

All of Tate’s channels have been terminated, and he is not allowed to use, own, or create any additional channels on the Google-owned platform.

In addition, Andrew Tate seemingly deleted his Twitch channel, TateSpeech, to prevent getting banned on that platform as well. The channel now displays the message: “This channel has been closed by the user.”

Tate has not yet commented on the situation. However, one of his representatives criticized the platforms for their handling of the situation and stated that banning him is not the solution.

“There is a running contradiction in today’s society where men are encouraged to speak and be open and honest about their feelings but are typically met with a negative response to their truth,” they stated.

“Banning Andrew Tate from these platforms might seem like the answer, but it’s not that simple. Removing Tate’s voice does not allow for a kinder, hate-free society.”

Tate is known as a “success coach,” but he has also described himself as a “misogynist” and has sparked controversy with his sexist comments. Many Twitch and YouTube stars have spoken out against him, including Ludwig Ahgren, QTCinderella, and Felix “xQc” Lengyel.

While some streamers like Adin Ross have given him a platform despite disagreeing with his ideologies, others, like Redditors, are calling for Twitch to ban him entirely after he appeared on someone else’s stream even after deleting his channel.
