XQc shares insight on how to support FaZe amidst significant organizational changes.

FaZe Clan’s Future: xQc Weighs In

FaZe Clan’s future is a hot topic right now, with internal issues and financial loss. Recently, xQc, Ludwig, and TheStockGuy discussed how they would shape the organization’s future in a livestream on June 2.

xQc’s Blunt Response

When asked how he would “save” FaZe, xQc was straightforward in his response. He suggested immediately replacing most of the existing leadership and content team and potentially getting rid of the esports division, including the CS:GO and Call of Duty teams. According to xQc, “Esports is dead.”

In xQc’s opinion, many esports organizations struggle with hiring the right people and understanding their value. He believes that without proper planning and consideration, venture capital and funding can lead to hasty decision-making.

The esports division of FaZe has faced criticism, with figures showing significant financial losses in running just one of their VALORANT teams.

Transitioning to a Content Team

xQc proposes pivoting FaZe Clan into a content team similar to YouTube’s Sidemen. He suggests building a group of prominent streamers and YouTubers, making content the focus. According to xQc, success lies in producing content that people want to consume. He believes that the core structure of FaZe Clan can be rebuilt by utilizing the existing content team.

Despite acknowledging the challenges, xQc still believes in FaZe Clan’s potential for success. He sees FaZe as one of the few organizations that has expanded beyond gaming and has the potential to continue breaking boundaries.

However, when asked about working with the original members of FaZe Clan (referred to as the “FaZe OGs”), xQc emphasizes the need for change and is willing to lose a portion of the fanbase to achieve it.

Rain, one of the original members, has received support from fans in response to recent conflicts within the organization.

During the livestream discussion, the stock price of FaZe Clan experienced fluctuations of up to 10 percent.

While xQc’s idea of owning a content or esports organization is intriguing, it’s unlikely that he will buy out FaZe Clan in the near future. The future of FaZe Clan remains uncertain.
