XQc shares additional subathon details, hints at a June 1 commencement

When Will XQc’s Subathon Begin?

XQc’s highly-anticipated subathon stream is no longer just a fantasy – it’s becoming a reality. And now, we may have a potential start date for this exciting event.

Screenshots from Discord shared by the Twitter account xQcUpdates give us a glimpse of what xQc has revealed about his subathon before starting his stream.

According to the messages, the current targeted start date for xQc’s subathon is June 1. However, this date is not final and may change. xQc also shared that he will be investing approximately $50,000 in new equipment to ensure a smooth and successful stream.

Previously, xQc mentioned his plan to set up multiple PCs around his house. Now, we have more details on the placement of these setups. There will be an outdoor setup, two indoor setups, one gym setup, and a mobile PC setup.

To manage the technical aspects of the stream, xQc will be hiring someone who will also reside in the house and oversee the command center as the stream progresses.

Connection should not be an issue, as xQc plans to set up a direct server to send data to Twitch. This will enhance the quality and strength of the stream’s connection.

Recently, xQc hinted that the stream could potentially last for 60 days. With a well-executed plan like this, it might just become a reality. However, to keep the stream going for such a long duration, xQc would need to attract a significant number of subscribers, potentially even breaking records.

Already one of the biggest channels on Twitch, the duration of the subathon and the number of records that can be broken remain to be seen.
