xQc perplexed by Twitch fans attending TwitchCon, labels ticket buyers as ‘unwell’

Felix “xQc” Lengyel Criticizes TwitchCon 2022 as an Overpriced Zoo

Felix “xQc” Lengyel recently expressed his thoughts on TwitchCon 2022 during his Twitch stream on July 19. He compared the event to an expensive zoo where viewers observe “degen” streamers.

TwitchCon Europe in Amsterdam

TwitchCon Europe took place in Amsterdam from July 17 to 18. The event featured popular streamers such as Ibai and Pokimane.

TwitchCon San Diego and xQc’s Perspective

TwitchCon San Diego will be held from October 7 to 9 and is expected to have an impressive lineup. However, xQc sees it more as a joke than a convention celebrating streaming stars.

xQc’s Controversial Opinion

xQc humorously stated that purchasing a TwitchCon pass is like buying an overpriced zoo ticket. He jokingly suggested that viewers attend the event to observe the “degen” species up close.

Poking fun at himself, xQc mentioned that fans who enjoy watching the “goblin” (a nickname given by his viewers) might want to attend the convention to observe him closely. He playfully insinuated that attending TwitchCon is not worth it and labeled it as “ill.”

xQc further remarked that people attend such events to observe streamers, whom he referred to as a “degenerate species.” He believes that they feel their lives are more valuable by comparing themselves to these perceived failures.

Mixed Feelings

The rant from xQc can be taken with a grain of salt since it appeared to be tongue-in-cheek. However, there might be some genuine emotions behind his comments, as the topic seemed to raise his blood pressure.

xQc’s Attendance at TwitchCon

Based on his remarks, xQc seems unlikely to attend TwitchCon San Diego. However, he did previously attend the event in 2019 and interacted with various popular streamers, including Myth and Tyler1.
