XQc Criticizes Twitch for Failing to Share VOD Timestamp with C9 Ziqo After Suspension

Popular Streamer xQc Calls Out Twitch for Lack of Transparency in C9 Ziqo’s Suspension

Streamer xQc, who recently faced a suspension on Twitch, has criticized the platform for failing to provide C9 Ziqo with evidence of his offense. xQc claims that he received a VOD timestamp when he was suspended, and believes it is only fair for Ziqo to receive the same treatment.

Ziqo Receives a Ban without Clear Explanation

Last week, C9 Ziqo was handed a seven-day suspension for violating the Twitch Terms of Service. However, Twitch did not specify the exact offense and only mentioned that it involved the use of a hateful slur, according to Ziqo.

xQc, a former Overwatch League pro and another prominent streamer suspended from Twitch, has expressed his solidarity with Ziqo. He believes that Ziqo should receive a VOD timestamp to understand the severity of his offense. This request comes after xQc himself received a timestamp during his suspension.

Ziqo revealed in a recent video that the ban has negatively impacted him, affecting future opportunities and tarnishing his account’s reputation. This kind of suspension can have long-term consequences, especially if he faces another ban in the future.

A seven-day ban can be devastating for any streamer, leading to a decline in their built-up audience. Many believe that Ziqo did not deserve the ban and should be provided with a timestamp for the alleged offense to ensure transparency.

Ziqo suspects that he was banned based on a clip where he says “fuck it,” which may have been misheard as a derogatory slur. He also highlighted the mistaken ban of Forsen, another popular World of Warcraft streamer, for a similar misunderstanding.

Ziqo’s suspension is expected to end on Wednesday, Jan. 27. Currently, it appears that he will have to wait out the remainder of the ban.
