xQc and m0xyy Secure First Win in Minecraft Monday
xQc and m0xyy have finally achieved their first victory in Minecraft Monday after showing steady improvement throughout the competition.
In the opening round of Hunger Games, xQc and m0xyy dominated the competition, giving Technoblade and his teammate Tyler “Ninja” Blevins a run for their money. This was Ninja’s first return to Minecraft Monday since week two.
The highlight of week 12 was the final round of Skywars, where CourageJD eliminated Techno early on, clearing the path for xQc and m0xyy to establish their lead.
As the final teams reached the smallest section of the map, a battle for heights ensued. xQc and m0xyy were on the ground level, while another team had set up a sky base above them.
While the commentators focused on m0xyy’s climb, lava started falling from an even higher build above them. JeromeASF and Bajan Canadian surprised everyone as they unleashed the chaos from their superior position.
Eventually, Team Merome forced their opponents into a stalemate. However, the server hosts introduced multiple Ender Dragons into the game, wreaking havoc on the remaining bases.
This created chaos and forced Bajan and Jerome to descend, resulting in their demise. Meanwhile, m0xyy capitalized on the situation with a well-timed Ender Pearl.
xQc and m0xyy maintained their lead in Parkour and TnT Run, even winning a round of TnT Run. This set them up perfectly to clinch their first win in the One Shot event, which they accomplished at the end.
Despite being eliminated early in the final round of Hunger Games, xQc and m0xyy had built enough of a lead to relax and watch. This victory comes after several attempts in previous competitions.

DolanDark competed without a partner throughout the event and managed to outperform several teams in Replica, a commendable feat considering he was the only one without a teammate.
FaZe Jarivs and FaZe Kay participated in only one round before leaving the lobby and being disqualified. It is unclear how this will impact their future appearances in the competition.
