XQc achieves sub-53 minute Minecraft speedrun, surpassing Forsen’s record

Twitch Streamer xQc Sets New Record in Minecraft Speedrun Rivalry

Popular Twitch streamer xQc has taken the lead in a speedrunning rivalry between himself and fellow streamer Forsen. During a recent broadcast, xQc recorded a sub-53-minute Minecraft speedrun, completing the challenge with a time of 52 minutes and 22 seconds.

Forsen Sets a Record, but xQc Claims Victory

xQc’s achievement comes just one day after Forsen set a record of his own with a time of 53 minutes and 11 seconds. This rivalry began when xQc surpassed Forsen’s previous record by more than three minutes, sparking a competitive drive in Forsen to reclaim the title.

xQc’s Pursuit of Improvement

Despite currently holding the faster time, xQc is determined to further improve his speedrun. While a sub-hour time is impressive and requires skill and practice, xQc’s 52-minute run is still far from the world record held by Illumina 1337, who completed the speedrun in just 9 minutes and 52 seconds.

Advantages of a Set Seed and Glitches

In the world of Minecraft speedrunning, players have discovered the benefits of using a set seed and glitches to cut down their completion time. Illumina’s record was achieved on a random seed, making resource gathering more challenging. However, player TheeSizzler has managed to achieve a record time of just two minutes and 31 seconds using a set seed and glitches that expedite the speedrun process.
