Luminosity Gaming Signs xQc and Announces Talent Show Livestream

Luminosity Gaming, a prominent esports organization, has made a major addition to its lineup. Former Overwatch League player xQc has joined Luminosity, marking his return to professional gaming since his time with the Dallas Fuel in 2017. Widely known for his engaging variety content and reaction videos, xQc boasts an extensive fan base on Twitch.

Introducing Rising Stars: A Talent Show Livestream

In addition to signing xQc, Luminosity has unveiled “Rising Stars,” an exciting talent show livestream. Aspiring streamers can participate in this five-week contest on Twitch to compete for a sponsorship valued at $100,000 with Luminosity.

XQc will spearhead the Rising Stars program, aimed at discovering the next big streamer. “I am determined to find the next gaming star,” xQc stated. “If you have what it takes and believe you can emerge victorious, there is a sponsorship waiting for you.”

Continued Growth and Collaborations for Luminosity

Just weeks ago, Luminosity made headlines when they signed xQc’s personal chess tutor Hikaru and popular Twitch streamer Pokelawls. These recent signings demonstrate the organization’s commitment to expanding its talent pool.

Luminosity has a history of producing successful streamers, albeit inadvertently. Back in 2017, they signed Ninja for their Halo team, who would go on to achieve immense success in games like H1Z1, PUBG, and Fortnite. Ninja eventually departed the organization in 2018.
