Will Kai Cenat face a Twitch ban for aiding in ban evasion?

Kai Cenat’s Recent Actions on Twitch Raise Suspension Concerns

Kai Cenat is treading a dangerous line on Twitch, risking a suspension less than a week into his 30-day subathon.

Last week, Cenat inadvertently allowed a banned female content creator on his broadcast, and last night, he appeared to have contacted another creator who is indefinitely banned on the platform.

One of the most-watched YouTube Gaming streamers in 2022, IShowSpeed, was previously banned on Twitch in late 2021 for “sexual coercion or intimidation.” The streamer tweeted about the ban on Twitter.

Cenat seemed to offer emotional support to Speed during a stream, referring to him as “John” to avoid implicating him. However, it remains uncertain if the person Cenat called was actually Speed.

While the identity of the person on the call is unclear, Twitch may potentially suspend Cenat for ban evasion if it is confirmed that he spoke to iShowSpeed. According to Twitch’s rules, streamers are not allowed to have banned streamers on their channels.

This is not the first time Cenat has been involved in ban evasion. Despite removing a banned individual from his stream, he recently expressed opposition to ban evasion before uttering “free DEO,” referencing another streamer who was banned for ban evasion.

DEO refers to BruceDropEmOff, who has faced his own ban evasion controversy on the platform.
