NIJISANJI has announced the suspension of VTuber Zaion LanZa, barring her from streaming and engaging in social media activities for an indefinite period.
Zaion joined NIJISANJI in December 2022 as part of its recent wave, XSOLIEL. Currently, she has 129,000 YouTube subscribers and 192,200 Twitter followers.
Reasons for Suspension
NIJISANJI released a statement on February 8, outlining the reasons for Zaion’s suspension. The statement mentioned “repeated misconduct” and stated that the agency had warned her multiple times about compliance issues, but the situation did not improve.
Comparison to Yugo Asuma’s Graduation
Fans have drawn parallels between Zaion’s suspension and Yugo Asuma’s departure from NIJISANJI. The statement about Yugo’s departure also mentioned that his activities and behavior as a VTuber were not accepted by the company.
