April 2022 Twitch Viewership Rankings
Twitch’s analytics companies have examined the data for April 2022 to determine the most-watched content creators on the platform.
Once again, xQc claimed the top spot with an impressive 25.57 million hours watched throughout the month, according to Stream Charts. The Canadian streamer attracted a large following while playing Overwatch 2 beta, participating in the Pixel Battle Reddit 2022, and sharing gambling content.
Top Twitch Streamers of April 2022
xQc finished the month ahead of Brazilian streamer Gaules, who accumulated 15.96 million hours watched as the runner-up. Gaules is known for his CS:GO broadcasts. Asmongold, AuronPlay, Ibai Llanos, Kamet0, ESL’s main CS:GO channel, Tarik, fps_shaka, and ROSHTEIN also made it to the list. Check out the numbers below.
Tarik’s inclusion in the top list was due to his successful watch party for VCT Masters One Reykjavík. VALORANT was one of the most popular categories on Twitch last month, ranking behind Grand Theft Auto: V, League of Legends, and Just Chatting.
Although no female content creators made it to the top Twitch streamers of April 2022, Stream Charts also compiled a women-only list. Unsurprisingly, Amouranth was the most-watched female streamer with 2.47 million hours watched. ironmouse followed with 1.41 million hours watched, and fuslie with 1.38 million hours watched.
The race for the top Twitch streamer in May 2022 is already underway. It remains to be seen if Gaules can dethrone xQc with his broadcast of the PGL Antwerp Major, scheduled to run from May 9th to 22nd.
