The Reason Behind xQc’s Frequent Moves
Contrary to popular belief, xQc is not a nomad. The French-Canadian star has a valid and recurring reason behind every move, and it’s often the same reason that keeps cropping up.
xQc Moves Due to Doxxing, Swatting, and Break-Ins
xQc’s constant change of residence is primarily driven by the frequent leaks of his address on the internet. Whenever this happens, it leads to multiple swatting incidents and even break-ins at his home.
For instance, when xQc moved into Sodapoppin’s house in June 2021, it was because he had been swatted multiple times and had a terrifying encounter with an intruder. The situation became so serious that he feared for his life, prompting the decision to move.
After briefly living in his own home, xQc faced the same issue once again. With seemingly no other option, he chose to move back in with his family in Canada as a temporary solution.
However, in 2022, xQc returned to the United States and purchased a new house in August. Yet during October, he spent most of his time streaming from Ludwig’s house, likely due to the filming of their Juiced game show.
Although xQc has since returned to his own home and hopes to avoid any further address leaks, if it does happen again, he will be forced to move once more.
