Valkyrae’s YouTube Gaming contract leaves her with nearly 200 streaming hours remaining

YouTube Gaming Streamers Required to Complete Hours Before Contract Ends

YouTube Gaming streamers, like Valkyrae, are obligated to fulfill a certain number of hours of broadcasting as part of their contracts. Valkyrae, a well-known content creator on the platform, has several hours left to stream before her contract expires next month.

Valkyrae’s Remaining Streaming Hours

Valkyrae recently revealed that she still has over 198 hours of streaming left to complete before her two-year YouTube Gaming contract concludes on January 15, 2022. She is recognized for her engaging streams of games like VALORANT and regularly attracts thousands of viewers across various streaming platforms.

Technical Difficulties Interrupt Valkyrae’s Stream

During a recent stream, Valkyrae encountered technical difficulties just five minutes into her broadcast. As a result, she had to cut her stream short for the day, which impacted her progress in completing her contract hours.

Controversies and Comeback

Valkyrae faced controversies related to the RFLCT skincare line, which led her to take a break from YouTube to prioritize her mental health and distance herself from social media toxicity. However, she has successfully bounced back from these challenges and continues to engage with her viewers on YouTube Gaming, allowing her brand to flourish and giving her enough time to fulfill her contract obligations.

Renewal Intentions and Influential Moves

It is currently unclear whether Valkyrae plans to renew her contract with YouTube Gaming after its expiration. However, given her significant presence as one of the platform’s top creators, it is expected that she will return under a new agreement. Notably, Valkyrae’s friend and fellow creator, Ludwig, recently made the switch from Twitch to join YouTube Gaming, adding another popular streamer to the platform. However, Ludwig’s move was followed by a suspension from the platform within two days.
