According to Valkyrae, her biggest regret is not leaving the toxic relationship sooner. As her career progressed, the toxicity increased, but she lacked the strength to break free.
“That was definitely my biggest regret,” she emphasized.
Valkyrae was referring to her former partner, who did not support her during the early stages of her Twitch career. He ridiculed her aspirations of becoming a full-time streamer.

Looking back, Valkyrae admits that she ignored the warning signs from friends and family regarding the toxic relationship. She was blinded by comfort and codependency.
Although it took longer than she had hoped, Valkyrae eventually liberated herself from the shackles of that toxic relationship and was able to spread her wings and thrive.
