Valkyrae changes course, decides against taking a month-long break from YouTube streaming

Valkyrae Cancels Planned Break, Returns to Streaming

Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has changed her mind about taking a break from streaming, announcing on April 20 that she will not be going on a month-long trip as previously planned. Instead, she will be returning to her regular streaming schedule on YouTube.

Change of Plans for “Queen of YouTube”

The popular streamer, often referred to as the “Queen of YouTube,” had previously mentioned that she would be taking time off from broadcasting, without specifying the reason. However, Valkyrae has now scrapped those plans and expressed her relief at the decision.

Relieved to Be Staying

In a recent YouTube stream, Valkyrae mentioned feeling extremely relieved about not going on the trip. She explained that several other commitments came up, causing her to reconsider her decision. After missing five days of broadcasts and taking into account her responsibilities with 100 Thieves, Valkyrae felt more comfortable staying with her streaming community instead of leaving them again.

Successful Year for Valkyrae

This year has already been a successful one for Valkyrae. She has gained 10 million video views since renewing her contract with YouTube after her initial two-year deal expired. Valkyrae’s new two-year extension will keep her on the platform until January 2024. She was also nominated for Best Variety Streamer at the Streamer Awards, although she did not win the fan-voted award.
