Tyler1 and T1 officially part ways

Popular Twitch Streamer Tyler1 Leaves T1

Twitch streamer Tyler1 has officially announced his departure from South Korean esports organization T1.

T1 expressed their gratitude to Tyler1 for his time with the organization through a tweet. Tyler1 has yet to comment on Twitter about the split, but mentioned on his stream that it was a mutual decision.

How It All Started

Tyler1’s connection with T1 began when they both shared the T1 abbreviation. As a result, T1 sent Tyler1 a package in June 2019 containing T1 merchandise and a custom figurine featuring Tyler1 alongside T1 franchise figure Faker.

A Content Creator for T1

Eventually, this inside joke led to T1 signing Tyler1 as a content creator on October 17, 2020. Tyler1 was prominently featured in several T1 YouTube videos and often showcased the T1 banner in his own events, including the Tyler1 Power Meet.

A Popular Twitch Streamer

Tyler1 is known as one of the most popular Twitch streamers for League of Legends. He boasts over 4.8 million followers on Twitch and has 2.74 million subscribers on YouTube.

T1 is currently competing in the 2022 LCK Spring Split, with their League team maintaining a flawless 6-0 record after three weeks. They will look to continue their winning streak against Hanwha Life Esports on February 9.
