Twitch Streamers Sodapoppin, xQc, and Nick Polom Experience DDoS Attacks Following IP Leak

A DDoS Attack Affects Twitch Streamers

Popular Twitch streamers faced connection problems yesterday in what appeared to be a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack.

Sodapoppin, xQc, and Nick Polom played a new game on Steam called Crab Game, which seems to be inspired by the popular Netflix show Squid Game.

The game’s description on Steam denies any connection to online streaming Korean TV shows to avoid legal trouble.

After playing the game, the trio experienced connection issues that may have resulted from an IP leak in the game. It is believed to be a potential DDoS attack.

In an attempt to confirm the attack, Sodapoppin even asked the person responsible for the DDoS to launch another attack.

Nick Polom tweeted that their IP got leaked during the game, and he had to cancel his upcoming stream to address the IP situation.

XQc also faced internet issues and might have to change his IP as well.
