Twitch Streamer Gianee Lee Faces Racial Abuse for the Second Time
Gianee Lee, a popular Twitch streamer, has sadly experienced racial abuse once again this week.
A few days ago, Lee was subjected to harassment on camera when two intoxicated men openly mock her by slanting their eyes. Despite handling the situation well and brushing it off, the abuse did not end there.
Yesterday, while walking through the streets of Berlin, Germany, a Turkish man interrupted Lee’s livestream. He waved enthusiastically at the camera while saying, “Ching chong ching chong.”
Although annoyed, Lee continued the stream and played along when he asked her about her origin and viewers. After bidding him farewell, she expressed her frustration to her viewers, saying, “Racist, right?”
These repeated acts of harassment would have discouraged anyone, but Lee remains undeterred. Despite the abuse, she does not blame the German people and has even decided to extend her stay in Berlin for an additional 30 days.
