Twitch Bans Streamer Jaycgee for Controversial Subathon Resulting in Backlash from Fans

Streamer jaycgee Suspended from Twitch During Subathon

Popular streamer jaycgee, known for collaborating with Mizkif, Esfand, and other Austin-based streamers, has been banned from Twitch during her uncapped subathon event. Many viewers have criticized the subathon for its perceived lack of effort.

On January 5, jaycgee started her uncapped subathon, where she would stream continuously as long as fans subscribed to her channel. Subscribing would add more time to her streaming requirement.

Unfortunately, jaycgee’s Twitch subathon was abruptly cut short due to a suspension from the platform. Viewers did not get to see the natural ending of the event.

There has been speculation about the exact reason for jaycgee’s suspension, with some viewers claiming that she was streaming movies and other media while sleeping or being AFK from her subathon.

Some viewers have criticized the subathon, initially a brilliant idea by YouTube star Ludwig, for becoming nothing more than a cash grab from smaller streamers.

Following her ban from Twitch, jaycgee tweeted about the situation without providing any details about the official cause or duration of her suspension.

Twitch has not released an official statement regarding jaycgee’s suspension, but attempting to view her channel shows a message stating that it is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, confirming that the ban is not permanent.
