Turkish Twitch Streamers Shockingly Capture Live Earthquake Moment

Turkey hit by 6.0 magnitude earthquake

On November 23, Turkey experienced a 6.0 magnitude earthquake at 1:08 am UTC, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 1.24 miles.

Despite the late hour, the earthquake was felt by many people, including popular Turkish Twitch streamers who were still live-streaming games. Some even captured the earthquake happening during their streams.

One streamer, Baboli, was playing Warzone 2 when he suddenly felt his house shake. Viewers witnessing the stream could see the effects of the earthquake.

Former League of Legends pro turned streamer Crystal_LoL was also affected by the earthquake. He removed his headset and stood up to look out the window, unsure of what was happening.

He later returned and confirmed that it was indeed an earthquake.

EgeArseven, a streamer known for playing FIFA 23, also felt the earthquake. Despite being shocked, he continued playing and building up an offensive play on the wing.

Interestingly, EgeArseven scored a goal moments after the earthquake occurred.

Fortunately, none of the streamers were harmed during the earthquake.

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or structural damage caused by the earthquake, but it did create panic as people hurriedly left buildings.

This is not the first time earthquakes in Turkey have been captured on-stream. In October 2020, Falconn2k experienced a magnitude seven earthquake during a stream.
