TimTheTatman’s debut on YouTube Gaming creates a ripple of excitement

TimTheTatman Makes an Impressive Debut on YouTube Gaming

TimTheTatman’s move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming may have been seen as a retirement plan by some, but his recent stream on the new platform proved that his fanbase is loyal and supportive.

In just his first stream on YouTube Gaming, Tim quickly reached impressive milestones in terms of viewership and members. Despite his large physical appearance, Tim has also been shedding weight metaphorically as a game streaming giant.

Within an hour and a half of streaming on YouTube Gaming, Tim surpassed 100,000 viewers for the first time, peaking at around 118,000 viewers.

Overall, his seven-hour stream on YouTube Gaming averaged about 88,000 viewers and accumulated a total of 636,000 hours watched, as reported by Stream Hatchet.

Additionally, Tim quickly gained paid subscribers, referred to as “members” on YouTube Gaming. In the first hour of his stream, he achieved 10,000 members.

This achievement is even more remarkable when considering the differences between Twitch and YouTube. Unlike Twitch, YouTube does not allow viewers to gift subscriptions to others. On Twitch, top creators like Tim often have fans who gift a large number of subscriptions.

According to TwitchTracker, Tim left Twitch with over 28,000 active subscribers, including 5,129 gifted subs.

As of this morning, Tim stated during his stream that he currently has 15,350 active members on YouTube Gaming. He mentioned that he ended his stream with around 14,000 members yesterday.

In the past year, Tim accumulated more than 60 million hours watched on Twitch, with an average of 34,634 viewers and 1,754 hours streamed, according to SullyGnome.

Before announcing his move to YouTube, Tim had 3.78 million subscribers. Since then, he has gained over 100,000 subs, raising his count to more than 3.94 million.

The VOD of Tim’s first stream on YouTube has already garnered nearly two million views within 24 hours. It held the top spot for trending gaming videos on YouTube for most of the day and is currently the second-ranked video in the category.
