TimTheTatman unveils his upgraded brand

TimTheTatman Debuts New Logo and Branding

Popular Twitch streamer TimTheTatman recently streamed for the first time since relocating from New York to Florida. Along with his new stream room, he also unveiled a new logo and branding.

Tim opted for a more streamlined look, revealing a logo featuring three aligned Ts, which he had teased a few weeks prior. Additionally, he changed the color scheme of his branding, transitioning from various shades of blue and gray to primarily yellow, with some black and gray accents.

A key motivation behind this rebranding was to simplify Tim’s stream setup and remove unnecessary clutter. Previously, notifications for donations and subscriptions took up a significant amount of screen space.

“Before, stuff was everywhere, and I kind of just wanted it to be more low key,” Tim explained.

Along the same lines, the number of alerts has been reduced, excluding the “super alerts” reserved for substantial donations of hundreds of dollars.

The “super alert” stands out as the main alert on Tim’s stream. When triggered, a large “triple T” logo appears on the screen accompanied by a loud audio cue. Tim collaborated with Streamlabs to create his alerts and notifications.

The new branding primarily focuses on Tim’s name rather than featuring the graphic of his popular “bear-lion-eagle” tattoo as his previous logo did. This shift in emphasis aims to increase Tim’s name recognition through his branding efforts.

Despite the minimalist approach, Tim still gives attention to his sponsors during his streams. A section in the lower-left corner of the screen showcases rotating sponsor logos, including those of Razer and Discord.

While the logos aren’t constantly visible, they periodically appear in that section of the screen to highlight Tim’s sponsors.

Tim has also mentioned that his rebrand will coincide with the release of new merchandise for his fans to purchase. However, he did not provide any details regarding the launch date during his recent stream, nor has he made any updates about it on social media.
