Twitch Rivals Rust Tournament: TheGrefg’s Team Eliminated
The Twitch Rivals Rust tournament is currently underway, featuring four teams of streamers competing in the survival FPS game. Unfortunately, TheGrefg’s Spanish-speaking team was the first to be eliminated from the event.
The tournament consists of teams led by streamers Disguised Toast, xQc, Dhalucard, and TheGrefg, battling it out to be the last team standing. They earn points by getting kills and taking control of opposing teams’ Tool Cupboard during designated elimination windows.
In the first two days of competition, Team Disguised Toast built a substantial lead, with players on almost 24/7. They gathered the most resources and kills, entering the third day with the most formidable base. Teams xQc and Dhalucard followed behind, both surpassing the 1,000 points threshold before the start of the elimination window.
Team TheGrefg fell significantly behind early on and struggled to catch up with their competitors. As they entered the first elimination window on day three, the pressure was on for the Spanish team to destroy another team’s Tool Cupboard and avoid being eliminated from the competition.
Although Team TheGrefg made some significant plays throughout the day, not all of their raids went according to plan. In the end, they were unable to destroy any other team’s Tool Cupboard and were eliminated due to having the fewest kills on the scoreboard, with just over 740.
The Twitch Rivals Rust tournament will continue for the third and fourth final days, ultimately leaving only one team as the winner. Since Team TheGrefg’s elimination, all points have been reset, leveling the playing field for the remaining teams.
