Tfue’s lawsuit against FaZe Clan results in a loss of almost 20,000 YouTube subscribers

Tfue Loses YouTube Subscribers After Lawsuit Against FaZe Clan

Turner “Tfue” Tenney has seen a decline in his YouTube subscriber count ever since he made his lawsuit against FaZe Clan public. At the time of writing, Tfue has lost nearly 20,000 subscribers, which accounts for 0.18% of his total subscriber base of over 10.7 million, according to SocialBlade, a social media statistics website. Prior to this incident, Tfue was gaining an average of 10,000 subscribers per day.

FaZe Clan’s Owner Gains Subscribers Amidst Controversy

Richard “Banks” Bengtson, the owner of FaZe Clan, has experienced a surge in subscribers since the lawsuit became public. Banks has gained 60,000 subscribers, which is approximately twelve times his usual daily growth.

These subscriber trends are not surprising considering the actions of both Banks and Tfue since the lawsuit was revealed. Tfue has remained silent on social media, refrained from publishing YouTube videos, and has not streamed on Twitch. On the other hand, Banks has actively addressed the allegations on his personal Twitter account, made statements on behalf of FaZe Clan, uploaded a video addressing Tfue on his YouTube channel, and even participated in an interview with YouTube creator KEEMSTAR.

Public Perception Favors FaZe Clan

The growth in Banks’ subscribers and the decline in Tfue’s can be attributed to public perception surrounding the lawsuit. With FaZe Clan vehemently dismissing Tfue’s allegations while he remains silent, fans are only exposed to the team’s defense and counter-allegations. In essence, FaZe Clan has been the more vocal party since the lawsuit came to light.

Although Tfue has lost thousands of followers, the impact on his long-term success is minimal. Furthermore, Banks’ subscriber growth is also not significantly substantial, as he currently has 5.2 million subscribers on his personal channel.
