Tfue Becomes Twitch’s Most-Followed Streamer
Popular Fortnite: Battle Royale pro and streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney has taken over as the new Twitch king.
Tfue now holds the title of Twitch’s most-followed active content creator, surpassing Michael “shroud” Grzesiek after Tyler “Ninja” Blevins made the move to Mixer earlier this month.
Tfue currently boasts over 6.9 million followers, slightly edging out shroud’s 6.8 million. However, both of their numbers are still far behind Ninja’s impressive 14.7 million following, despite his departure from Twitch.
Following Ninja’s switch, Tfue has gained more followers compared to shroud. Approximately 81,000 users started following Tfue, while shroud gained 45,000 new followers. The biggest surge in followers during this time was seen by Fortnite World Cup champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, who accumulated around 274,000 fans.
It’s uncertain how long Tfue will maintain his title as Twitch king, as Fortnite’s viewership has been gradually declining over the past few weeks. On the other hand, shroud has been dedicating hours to World of Warcraft Classic, a game that has quickly gained popularity since its recent release.
