Tfue and FaZe Banks reunite in spite of legal dispute

FaZe Clan Co-Owner Shares Photo with Tfue Amid Ongoing Lawsuit

Last night, Ricky “FaZe Banks” Bengston, co-owner of FaZe Clan, surprised the gaming community by posting a photo on Instagram alongside Turner “Tfue” Tenney.

The esports world has been embroiled in a major lawsuit since 2019, when Tfue filed a lawsuit against FaZe, claiming that the organization’s contracts were unfair and exploitative. One particularly contentious clause would have allowed FaZe to take up to 80 percent of Tfue’s revenue.

On May 21, FaZe Banks uploaded a YouTube video asserting that Tfue’s lawsuit was simply a ploy to terminate his contract. Following the video, Banks and Tfue have not been spotted together in public.

However, over six months later, the two were seen partying together in a club, and Banks even posted a photo of the encounter on his Instagram story.

On Feb. 5, Banks reached out to Tfue on Twitter to offer support after his breakup with Corinna Kopf. In a short and simple tweet, Banks urged Tfue to “let’s just all go back to how things were.”

Despite their recent friendly encounters, the lawsuit between FaZe and Tfue is still ongoing.

The two parties are set to meet in court on July 6 to proceed with the legal proceedings.
