Battlefield 2042 Struggles with Glitches and Bugs

Player Complaints about Glitches and Bugs
One of the main issues players have with Battlefield 2042 is the presence of glitches and bugs in online matchmaking. The game’s complex environmental interactions, such as weather effects and destructible environments, often lead to players getting stuck or being unable to play.
Twitch Streamers Encounter Game-breaking Bug
A recent sponsored stream on the Twitch channel Crown featured popular streamers playing Battlefield 2042. The stream, hosted by Lucy Mae, included 100 Thieves’ streamer BrookeAB, Symfuhny, and Krystalogy. While most of the stream went smoothly, the group encountered a game-breaking bug after two hours.
After respawning, both Krystalogy and Symfuhny found themselves trapped underneath a staircase and were unable to access the rest of the map. Despite attempting various methods, such as tossing grenades and jumping around the borders, they remained stuck. Later, BrookeAB also spawned with her trapped squadmates, leaving all three streamers unable to continue playing.
Krystalogy eventually managed to escape using her wingsuit, but the majority of the streamers remained stuck until the match ended. The stream concluded shortly after the incident with the bug.
