Sykkuno narrowly prevents Doublelift’s criticism of League during Worlds co-stream

Sykkuno Saves Doublelift from Criticizing League of Legends World Championship Finals

Sykkuno, a popular livestreamer on YouTube, was chosen by Riot Games to co-stream the League of Legends World Championship Finals. During his broadcast last night, he prevented Doublelift from making a mistake by criticizing the game.

An Uproar in the League Community

Earlier this week, the League community expressed dissatisfaction with the decision to only allow Sykkuno to officially co-stream the World Championship Finals.

Sykkuno’s Role as an English Speaker

During Sykkuno’s broadcast of the Worlds, viewers saw why he was chosen for the job. While filling time between games, Doublelift asked Sykkuno about his desire to play League intensely. Sykkuno responded that it depends on whether he’s winning or losing and that it’s less enjoyable when he’s losing.

Quick Intervention by Sykkuno

Doublelift began describing League using negative words, but Sykkuno stepped in before he could make a major mistake. Sykkuno quickly interjected, praising the game and emphasizing his love for playing it because of Worlds.

The interaction ended with Doublelift sarcastically acknowledging that Sykkuno expressed exactly what he wanted to say.

Sykkuno and Doublelift continued their co-stream of the League World Championship Finals without any issues, thanks to Sykkuno’s quick thinking. The broadcast lasted for another four hours.
