Streamer Summit1g Expresses Missing DrDisrespect’s Presence
Popular streamer Summit1g recently shared his sentiments about not being able to play with DrDisrespect regularly on his Twitch stream today. Despite their past disagreements, he stated that he values their friendship even more since DrDisrespect’s move to YouTube.
A Nostalgic Friendship
Summit1g expressed his nostalgia for playing with DrDisrespect, stating that their time together was often filled with tension. However, he admitted that as he progressed in his career, he became more accepting of up-and-coming streamers criticizing him, similar to how DrDisrespect did in the past. This newfound acceptance made Summit1g miss DrDisrespect even more and regret his previous attitude towards him.
A Dynamic Battle Royale Duo
Both Summit1g and DrDisrespect were well-known for their impressive gameplay in battle royale titles like PUBG and H1Z1. The duo’s banter and constant bickering during their streams created numerous entertaining moments, which fans greatly enjoyed.
The Divide and Hope
Unfortunately, following DrDisrespect’s ban from Twitch in June 2020, Summit1g was no longer able to stream alongside him due to Twitch’s restrictions. Despite hopes that DrDisrespect’s settlement with Twitch would allow him to appear on Summit1g’s streams, this was not the case, as he was still banned even for a simple appearance on someone else’s stream.
Summit1g admitted that he used to have an ego when it came to the size of his channel and felt threatened by streamers like DrDisrespect who had a similar or higher viewer count. However, he also mentioned how much he missed having a friend like DrDisrespect, who constantly challenged and motivated him to improve as a content creator.
Although Summit1g and DrDisrespect can still spend time together off-stream or during DrDisrespect’s YouTube broadcasts, there is still a noticeable divide between them and their previous collaborations.
