Streamer Ludwig discusses The Game Awards and recent “Bill Clinton kid” controversy

Imposter Steals the Show at The Game Awards: Ludwig’s Mogul Mail Recap

Today, Ludwig’s Mogul Mail video delves into the highlights of The Game Awards, where Ludwig himself was present, offering a comprehensive 10-minute VOD.

While the spotlight was initially on “God of War: Ragnarok” and “Elden Ring” battling for top awards, the real story of the evening took an unexpected turn. An imposter managed to make their way onto the stage, stealing the limelight. Ludwig acknowledges that this situation seems to have been somewhat encouraged by a recent incident.

According to Ludwig, “Will Smith cursed all award shows by slapping the shit out of Chris Rock.”

When analyzing the video of the incident, Ludwig astutely observes that the imposter was seen glancing at the large monitors next to the stage during the Game of the Year acceptance speech. This allowed the intruder to ensure they were on camera.

As Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of FromSoftware, and his team concluded their statement, Ludwig notices that the individual positioned themselves strategically to quickly reach the microphone.

Having been present at the event, Ludwig admits that the situation caused confusion among the live audience. After applauding the acceptance speech, some people clapped for the child’s strange statement simply because “nobody understood what he said.”

Nevertheless, Ludwig condemns the imposter’s actions, although his reasoning may surprise you.

He states, “The real tragedy is that it could have been worse. It not only spoiled the moment for Miyazaki but also overshadowed the greatest moment of The Game Awards. The focus should not have been on that kid or on ‘Elden Ring.’ It should have been on the flute guy.”

Dubbed “flute guy,” the exuberant flutist from The Game Awards’ orchestra stole the show in Ludwig’s opinion. Twitter agrees, as “flute guy” trended after the event, showing that many people shared Ludwig’s sentiment.
