Streamer iiTzTimmy’s month-long subathon concludes with an incredible 50,000 subscribers.

iiTzTimmy’s Subathon Comes to an End

iiTzTimmy’s subathon, which lasted nearly a month and gained over 50,000 subscriptions, has finally concluded. This morning, while Timmy was still asleep during the viewer media share hours, the timer on his subathon clock reached zero.

Although Timmy couldn’t turn off his stream when the timer hit zero, his mods promptly changed the stream’s title to “FIN. // DAY 29/29” and subscriptions no longer added time to the subathon clock.

The Outcome of the Subathon

While sleeping, iiTzTimmy’s one-year capped subathon has come to an end. He came close to reaching 60,000 subs, with over 50,000 gained, and received countless bits. After surviving for 29 days, the subathon concluded.

There were some claims from Timmy’s chat that the subathon timer was bugged and that subscriptions came in as the time hit zero. However, Timmy explained to his chat that even if he revived it, it had already been two hours, indicating that it would eventually end. In the end, Timmy ran a poll among his viewers to decide the fate of the subathon. The poll resulted in only an eight-percent difference between viewers who thought the subathon should end and those who thought it should continue. Based on this, Timmy made the decision to end the subathon.

Originally, Timmy set a one-year cap for his subathon, aiming to surpass Ludwig’s famous subathon record from 2020. However, a year proved to be too ambitious, even for a streamer as entertaining as Timmy. His subathon concluded with a subscriber count just above 59,000, starting from a count below 10,000.

Timmy’s Rise on Twitch

Thanks to the subathon, Timmy now holds the fourth-highest subscriber count on Twitch, as reported by TwitchTracker. The last few days of his subathon propelled the Apex Legends and VALORANT streamer above prominent Twitch personalities like NICKMERCS, HasanAbi, and Ibai.

What’s Next for Timmy?

As an innovator, Timmy will likely return soon with another self-imposed streaming challenge. For those who will miss the subathon, they can always revisit Timmy’s VODs and internet clips to relive the best moments from the past month.

The current record for the longest subathon on Twitch is held by emilycc, who is currently in the midst of an ongoing subathon and has been streaming for a remarkable 191 days.
